The Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are priests and deacons, but in cases where there is a larger community, and a greater need, fully initiated Catholic Christians may be commissioned by the Pastor to serve the community.
Extraordinatry Ministers of Holy Communion help to distribute communion at weekend and daily Masses. To serve as an Extraordinary Minister, you must attend Mass on a regular basis and have received the Sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.) Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the service to check your assignment.
